PALO ALTO, CA — A Monday morning Palo Alto power outage is impacting more than 3,000 customers, the city’s utility announced on Twitter at 8:03 a.m.

Residents are encouraged to check the city’s online outage map or call (650) 496-6914 for updates.

Some residents responded to the tweet saying they have been without power for more than four hours.

“There's currently an electrical outage in the northeast neighborhoods of Palo Alto,” the utility said.

“Electric operations is working on identifying the cause and getting an estimated time of restoration.”
