PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto Police said they identified four suspects from an incident in January where an auto theft turned into a shooting.

Three of the suspects were juveniles, according to police. One of them, a 15-year-old San Jose resident, was arrested and charged with conspiracy, possession of a stolen vehicle and accessory to assault with a deadly weapon. Police are looking for two more juvenile suspects — a 15-year-old male and a 17-year-old male — and seeking a review from the District Attorney’s office on potential charges for an 18-year-old male.

Police received a call on Jan. 29 around midnight claiming that the suspects fired a shot during an auto theft in the 3600 block of South Court. The caller said he had not been hit, according to police.
