PALO ALTO, CA — The Palo Alto Police Department released a map this week showing the locations of calls for service to the police.

The map can be viewed at cityofpaloalto.org/PAPDmap. It is currently in a beta, pilot status.

The map doesn’t show the exact location of calls to protect potential crime victims, according to the police department. Calls will also not be displayed until the incident is closed and will only be visible for 24 hours.
