Palo Alto Storm Watch: San Francisquito Creek Flooding Possible
West Bayshore Road is currently closed at the San Francisquito Creek in Palo Alto while staff work to clear debris.

PALO ALTO, CA -- Police say they're monitoring water levels in San Francisquito Creek as part of a flood warning issued Feb. 7 by the National Weather Service, and that overtopping is possible at the West Bayshore Road bridge.
Police also say that West Bayshore Road is currently closed at the creek while city staff works to clear debris.
Also, due to the storms, the city's emergency operations center has activated; updates can be seen at the PAPD's official Twitter account, www.twitter.com/PaloAltoPolice. No Twitter account is required to see the updates – just head to the page and refresh it as necessary.
