Palo Alto Traffic Advisory: Delays on Highway 101 at Embarcadero Road

PALO ALTO, CA -- If you're planning on taking Highway 101 through Palo Alto on Friday morning, be prepared for possible bottlenecks.

There are lane closures with resulting delays on southbound Highway 101 at Embarcadero Road this morning due to a dump truck that struck the overpass overnight while driving on the freeway. However, Embarcadero Road itself, including the overpass, is open in both directions.

The California Highway Patrol and Caltrans are handling the situation, which is anticipated to be resolved no later than noon today, according to the Palo Alto Police Department.
