The Palo Alto Police Department responds to various crime reports between Apr. 19 and April 21. Here's a sampling of their reports.
Hit and Run
A property hit and run occurred on April 18 at 12:52 p.m. on El Camino Real and Hansen Way. The incident remains under investigation.
Public Drunkenness

A transient male Juis Enrique Herrera, 46, was arrested for misdemeanor public drunkenness in public on April 19 at 11:27 a.m. He was cited and released.
Driving Under the Influence

Los Angeles resident Mark Phillip Zee, 32, was arrested for driving under the influence on April 20 at 2:20 a.m. on the 1800 block of El Camino Real.
Possession of Marijuana
A San Jose resident Joshua Nathaniel White, 22, was arrested for possession of marijuana on April 21 at 3 a.m. at 2310 El Camino Real. He was booked into the main jail.
Battery against Peace Officer
A Palo Alto resident James McFarland, 49, was arrested for battery against a peace officer under Penal Code 243(c)(1) on April 21 7:34 p.m. on 250 Lytton Ave. He was booked into the main jail.
