Rep. Eshoo Picks Sen. Aide, Intuit Exec For Tech Policy
Asad Ramzanali will guide the congresswoman on matters of interest while she serves on a House Energy and Commerce's tech subcommittee.

PALO ALTO, CA -- U.S. Rep. Anna G. Eshoo (D-Palo Alto) announced last week that Asad Ramzanali will serve as her new senior technology policy advisor.
Ramzanali previously served as a legislative fellow for U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz, a Democrat from Hawaii, in addition to roles in the private sector at the Center for Financial Services Innovation in San Francisco.
In the heart of tech land, the policy wonk also performed work for Intuit, Inc. in Mountain View. He will be responsible for the congresswoman’s work on the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Communications and Technology.

Ramzanali earned a Bachelor’s Degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and attended Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, where he served as a research assistant to former Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler.
