Sanders And The Warriors: "A Good Omen For Our Campaign"

Democratic Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders showed up late to the Warriors game Monday, then noted some similarities to his campaign.

OAKLAND - It didn't take Bernie Sanders long to make comparisons Monday night at the Warriors game.

Golden State won Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals, a thrilling 96-88 victory over Oklahoma City at Oracle Arena.

Sanders showed up at halftime for the game with Bay Area actor Danny Glover, creating quite a stir.

According to CNN, the two had seats in section 108, row 15 of the Oracle Arena.

CNN says despite being surrounding by yellow shirts in the crowd with the Warrior's playoff slogan "Strength in Numbers," Sanders kept his blue button-down shirt on.

Perhaps it has something to do with the color of blue always associated with Democrats.

After the game, Sanders said watching the Warriors come back in the series after being down three games to one was prophetic.

"They turned it around, I think that is what our campaign is going to do as well; a very good omen for our campaign," CNN reported.

Sanders made note of the Warrior upsurge after his halftime arrival, and suggested a correlation.

"Absolutely! No question about it. They were losing, then in the third quarter they did fantastically well. What other explanation is there?" said Sanders.
