Second Sexual Battery Incident In Two Days Occurs In Palo Alto
Police are investigating whether the same suspect was responsible for both incidents.

PALO ALTO, CA — Police in Palo Alto are investigating the second sexual battery case in as many days in the city and whether the same suspect was responsible for both incidents.
A woman in her 40s was standing on the sidewalk at the corner of Sand Hill Road and Plum Lane near the Stanford Shopping Center on Monday when a shirtless man came by in a bicycle and touched her lower back, buttocks and breasts before riding away, according to police.
A day earlier, a woman in her 60s was walking on Middlefield Road between University Avenue and Lytton Avenue when a man on a bicycle forcibly grabbed her buttocks as he passed her, according to police.

The suspect in Monday’s incident was described by the victim as a bald, six-foot tall white male in his 50s wearing blue shorts with a muscular build and tan skin. He was riding a black road bike, according to the victim.
