Sexual Misconduct Case Involving Palo Alto Students To Be Heard
The hearing slated for Feb. 22 against the Palo Alto School District will review its handling of a student sexual harassment accusation.

PALO ALTO, CA -- The case involving a female student at Henry Gunn High School filing a petition to mandate a former boyfriend she's accusing of sexual harassment to avoid her is headed for a hearing this month in Santa Clara County Superior Court.
The Palo Alto Unified School District is facing a complaint for its alleged mishandling of the two students when the male student was recently allowed to attend the same robotics team workshop -- one in which they would see each other every day.
The undisclosed female, who's a minor, has accused her former boyfriend, another minor, of forcing himself on her sexually through oral copulation then belittling her in texts once she broke up with him.

Initially, the school district kept the male student off the special high school science team per the petition but last month reinstated the male student. Phone calls requesting why the change of heart from the school district from Patch were unreturned.
A judge ruled last week to bar the male student from attending pending the outcome of the case, which is headed into a hearing on Feb. 22, the girl's law firm Hoge Fenton Jones and Appel confirmed without commenting on details of the case.
