Suspects Steal Cash, Laptop From Palo Alto Man After Meeting Online
The victim told police he invited a woman to his home on the 700 block of Sutter Avenue around 1 a.m. Thursday after meeting her online.
PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto police are searching for two suspects who stole several thousand dollars in cash and a laptop from a victim who invited a woman to his home on Thursday morning.
The victim told police he invited a woman to his home on the 700 block of Sutter Avenue around 1 a.m. Thursday after meeting her online. Shortly after the woman arrived, a male suspect knocked on the victim’s door and brandished a handgun before stealing the cash and a laptop.
The two then fled the residence, and police believe they were accomplices. Both suspects were described as Hispanic and in their 30s.

The victim did not observe which direction the suspects fled in or their vehicle.
