Temporary Traffic Changes on Stanford's Campus Drive West
Construction of the Anderson Gallery will affect all forms of transit on the campus thoroughfare through December 2014.

Starting next week, there will be a change in the circulation of vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic along Campus Drive West between Roth Way and Palm Drive.
This change, which will be in effect through December 2014, is necessary to accommodate work being done as part of the construction of the Anderson Gallery and of the new energy facility.
Campus Drive West will change from two lanes in each direction to one lane in each direction between Roth Way and Palm Drive. While access to all streets, buildings and parking structures along Campus Drive will not change, commuters may want to plan for alternate routes or additional time during the peak commute hours from 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.

Directional signs will be installed at the Roth Way and Palm Drive intersections that will guide vehicles, bikes and pedestrians during the construction period.
Normal traffic in both lanes will be restored to accommodate the extra traffic associated with major events—Commencement, New Student Orientation, Reunion Homecoming, Parents' Weekend and Admit Weekend—and all home football games.
