Vehicular Manslaughter Arrest In Death Of Girl, 13: Sunnyvale
Bryan Gonzalez-Lopez was arrested following the 1:50 a.m. solo rollover.
SUNNYVALE, CA — An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and of DUI after the 13-year-old passenger in his car died early Sunday morning in a solo wreck on the Central Expressway, Sunnyvale police said.
Bryan Gonzalez-Lopez was arrested following the 1:50 a.m. solo rollover in the eastbound lanes of the Central Expressway between Mary Avenue and Bernardo Avenue, in which his 13-year-old female passenger was killed, police said.
Gonzalez-Lopez was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail after being treated for non-life-threatening injuries suffered in the wreck, police said.
