PALO ALTO, CA — A woman who died in a motorcycle crash Wednesday in Palo Alto has been identified as 33-year-old Mila Acevedo of San Jose, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office. The crash happened at 3:53 p.m. on Skyline Boulevard a mile south of Page Mill Road, according to police. Acevedo was driving a 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 south on Skyline when she rounded a corner, went off road, struck a tree and landed in a ravine. She was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene, according to police. Police don't believe any other vehicles were involved in the fatal crash, which is currently under investigation. —Bay City News
