Woman Robbed At Gunpoint At Palo Alto Train Station

At 4:17 p.m., the woman called the department's dispatch center Tuesday saying she was robbed at gunpoint.

PALO ALTO, CA — Police are in search of two suspects who robbed a woman in her twenties at the University Avenue train station on late Tuesday afternoon, said the Palo Alto Police Department.

At 4:17 p.m., the woman called the department's dispatch center saying she was robbed at gunpoint. According to her account of the incident, two suspects brandished a handgun at her and demanded her backpack, credit cards, portable charger and Nike shoes she was wearing.

Police said a woman in her eighties tried to intervene but stopped with the suspect pointed the gun at her.

The two suspects fled towards University Circle in a white Nissan sedan, according to witnesses. Both suspects were described as two Hispanic men in their mid-twenties wearing black shirts.
