2 Boaters Missing After Crash Off Coast Of Palos Verdes: Report
Two men have gone missing after an apparent boat crash off the coast of Palos Verdes Estates, reports say.
PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA — Two men have gone missing after an apparent boat crash off the coast of Palos Verdes Estates Tuesday morning, according to reports.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department told ABC7 that the two men were supposed to meet a friend who planned to pick them up at a nearby boat ramp. When the men didn't show, the friend contacted authorities.
Rescue crews mobilized to search for the missing men and found a boat washed up and overturned against the rocks near the 1800 block of Paseo Del Mar.

"We have nobody in the area of the debris field, so we have a number of resources, both land-based, out on the water in vessels, and also some drones as well to search the coastline," LACoFD Captain Ocean Lifeguard Pono Barnes told ABC7 after the vessel was found.
