City Celebration to Be Held in RHE Saturday

The city of Rolling Hills Estates will hold its 54th Annual Old-Fashioned City Celebration on Saturday with games, food and events for residents and others in nearby communities.

The all-day event, which celebrates the city's 54th anniversary, will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the , 39 Empty Saddle Rd., in Rolling Hills Estates.

Equestrian events, pony rides, a petting zoo, games and activities will be available throughout the day. A barbecue lunch will be served by the Palos Verdes 4-H Club. 

Dinner will be served by the Los Compadres service organization from 4-6 p.m. Pricing is $12 for adults and $6 for children (ages 12 and under).

Carriage drivers and horseback riders can participate in the 19th Annual Poker Ride for $10 per hand. For more information, call Poker Ride Co-Chair Gil Houle at 310-375-5157.
