PALOS VERDES, CA — Free movie nights are coming to Ken Dyda Civic Center in Rancho Palos Verdes next month, featuring three movies hit-movies. Here's what to know:
Moana 2 : The animated musical film, which shattered box office records around the world in 2024, will show on Saturday, June 14.
Top Gun : The 1986 film starring Tom Cruise as a a fighter pilot in the Top Gun Naval Fighter Weapons School will play on Saturday, July 12.

The Wild Robot: The 2024 film about a robot stuck on an island after a shipwreck and learning to survive by befriending wild animals will show on Saturday, Aug. 9.
There will be a food truck, giveaways and movie-themed games and trivia at each event, Rancho Palos Verdes city officials said in a statement last week.

It is recommended attendees bring a beach chair or picnic blanket and dress warm as the movie will play outdoors. Activities will begin at 7 p.m. and the movie will start playing when the sun sets.
