Friday's Quick Hits: Speed Limits, Charlie Brown
Here are some things to look forward to today on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

TGIF! Here are five things Palos Verdes residents should know today:
- The speed limit on Palos Verdes Drive West in Palos Verdes Estates between Paseo Lunado and the city's southern limit may increase from 30 to 35 mph, according to the Palos Verdes Peninsula News. The Palos Verdes Estates City Council will make the final vote on the issue in September.
- The South Bay Conservatory Premiere Musical Theatre Company presents You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown this weekend. Tonight's show begins at 7 p.m.
- The ADA-compliant restrooms at Ryan Park in Rancho Palos Verdes will finally open today. The city has been working to improve ADA accessibility at the park for nearly two months.
- In case you missed it, Thursday's top story was Dunkin' Donuts to Open South Bay Stores.
- Today's photo of the day was submitted by Carol Dygean. She wrote,
"Seed to Plate celebrated its new space at Valmonte school with Silver Spur garden club, school administrators, students and parents. Pictured below is Nancy LeMarge (left) program manager and garden specialist, Lisa. The program is a collaboration between Chez Melange and the PVPUSD. Special needs students grow vegetables for Chez Malange and learn life skills."
