Gas Prices Hover at $4 in Palos Verdes

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dipped under $4 Wednesday for the first time since June 12, decreasing 1.2 cents to $3.989.

Nevertheless, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Rancho Palos Verdes is $4, according to GasPriceWatch.com.

The average price in Los Angeles County has decreased for 19 consecutive days and is 6.4 cents less than one week ago and 4.8 cents lower than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. However, it is 10.1 cents more than one year ago

The average price has decreased 13.1 cents over the past 19 days, including six-tenths of a cent on Tuesday.
