'Guys and Dolls' to Start Season for Norris Theater

The Norris Center for the Performing Arts will begin its 29th season with a classic musical.

The Norris Center for the Performing Arts will open its 29th season Friday with performances of "Guys and Dolls."

The Center in Rolling Hills Estates will run nine performances of the Tony award-winning romantic musical comedy through Oct. 9. 

The show will feature popular songs, including “Luck Be a Lady,” “Sit Down You’re Rocking The Boat,” “If I Were a Bell,” and the famous title song, “Guys and Dolls.”

The Norris production stars actors Chris Gilbert, Jeff Asch, Beth Obregon, Rebecca Morris and Brandon Stanford.

"This rollicking musical fable of Broadway, with its irresistible score, lavish sets, and unforgettable characters will provide the ultimate in entertainment for audiences of all ages," producing director James Gruessing said.

Performance dates are Sept. 23-25 and 30, Oct. 1-2 and 7-9, with 8 p.m. shows on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sunday matinees. Tickets are $42 for adults and $25 for kids. For more information or to purchase tickets call 310-544-0403 or visit www.norriscenter.com.
