PALOS VERDES, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Despite personal tragedy in her own life, Anne has dedicated her life to helping people in recovery and working with the marginalized in our society. Anne has been working 7 days a week during this pandemic because she views it as her purpose. During the week she is a counselor with Tarzana Treatment Centers and her weekends are filled with her work with the homeless at the Urban Community Outreach Center in Long Beach.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She is tireless in her dedication to helping people out of the depths of addiction and homelessness. She is a light in our sometimes dark world.
