Monday Essentials: $3.10 Burgers at Ruby's
Here are some things to look forward to this week on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Here are five things Palos Verdes residents should know this week:
- The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District Board of Education will meet Monday at 8 a.m. According to the online agenda, the meeting will be primarily a closed session.
- PVP Transit buses will only run on Lines 225/226 from Monday through Aug. 27, according to the Palos Verdes Peninsula Transit Authority.
- In honor of the restaurant's 31st anniversary, Ruby's Diner will be selling its new "NEXT GEN" burger for only $3.10 on Monday. There is a Ruby's Diner in the Promenade on the Peninsula in Rolling Hills Estates.
