Monday Essentials: Elections!
Here are some things to look forward to this week on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Here are five things Palos Verdes residents should know this week:
- There will be elections in Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes this year; however, the filing deadline will likely be extended in other races. Stay tuned to Palos Verdes Patch for the latest information on candidates.
- The Rolling Hills City Council will meet at City Hall at 7:30 p.m. Monday (agenda). The Rolling Hills Estates City Council will meet in its City Council Chambers at 7 p.m. Tuesday (agenda). The Palos Verdes Estates City Council does not meet in August.
- The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting at the Malaga Cove Administration Center at 4:30 p.m. Monday (agenda).
