Palos Verdes Estates Promises Safety Improvements for Bike Riders After Protest
The city said it has already implemented some safety measures for bicyclists,
Palos Verdes Estate, CA -- A protest by a group of bicyclists calling for improved safety for riders got the attention of city officials, the Daily Breeze reported.
City Engineer Ken Rukavina told the group some 40 riders that the city has already taken steps to improve the safety or riders in Palos Verdes Estates. City staff will also bring new safety proposals to the city's Traffic Safety Commmittee nextweek.
