PVPUSD Named to 2025 Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll

District recognized as one of the highest performing in California for second consecutive year

PALOS VERDES, CA — The Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District has been named to the

Educational Results Partnership’s 2025 Honor Roll.

This is the district’s second consecutive year on the list, which recognizes the highest performing schools in California. PVPUSD is one of 159 districts recognized this year, representing about 21 percent of districts statewide.

Ten district schools—Palos Verdes Peninsula High, Palos Verdes Intermediate, Ridgecrest Intermediate, Mira Catalina Elementary, Montemalaga Elementary, Cornerstone Elementary, Rancho Vista Elementary, Silver Spur Elementary, Soleado Elementary, and Vista Grande Elementary—also earned individual recognition on the 2025 Honor Roll.

Now in its 11th year, the Honor Roll recognizes public schools, school districts, and charter schools that have outperformed their peers in closing achievement gaps, particularly among higher-poverty and historically disadvantaged student populations.

“We are honored to once again be included on the Educational Results Partnership’s Honor Roll,” said Superintendent Dr. Devin Serrano. “This recognition reflects the hard work and commitment of our staff and families to ensure every student thrives. We are proud of our schools for continuing to deliver high-quality education that supports success for all learners.”

Educational Results Partnership is a nonprofit organization that applies data science to identify successful public education systems, practices, and policies delivering the best results for students. Its database tracks student achievement from kindergarten into the workforce, helping educators and employers chart pathways that lead to academic success and living-wage careers.

This 2025 Honor Roll is presented in collaboration with business leaders and 28 chambers of commerce statewide, including the California Chamber of Commerce’s Foundation for Commerce and Education, California Black Chamber of Commerce, CalAsian Chamber of Commerce, California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, San Joaquin A+, and other business leaders across the nation.
