RPV Council to Consider City Pension Revisions

Rancho Palos Verdes City Council members will talk pensions and grant requests during tonight's meeting.

members will discuss changes to the city's pension plan during tonight's meeting, in addition to grants for nature reserve restoration.

The council will consider approving revision recommendations for the city's pension plan made by the City Council Pension Revision Subcommittee.

Council members will also discuss the submission of grant applications by the for funds to restore habitats and work on trails at the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve. It also will consider the adoption of a resolution that would approve $10,800 for infrastructure improvements at the nature preserve. Council will also consider a grant application submission by the PVPLC for funds used toward habitat restoration at the Vicente Bluffs Reserve of the nature preserve.

Council members are also expected to approve an agreement with Mia Lehrer & Associates for skate park and dog park site community outreach and analysis. An agreement Mia Lehrer & Associates in the amount of $24,400 would be used to pursue both of these parks on the Peninsula.
