Seen This Woman? Police Say She Cashed Stolen Check In Rolling Hills Estates

Police said the woman and another man posed as a couple in need to get people to cash their checks for them.

ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, CA — Police are looking for a woman who was photographed at a Bank of America branch in Rolling Hills Estates coaxing customers to cash stolen checks for her.

The checks were stolen April 23 from an office in the 2100 block of East Rosecrans Avenue in El Segundo, police said. The woman was seen at several Bank of America branches in the South Bay and Orange County, including Rolling Hills Estates.

Police said the woman and another man posed as a couple in need to get people to cash their checks for them. The checks were cashed in various amounts over $4,000, police said.
