'Skating By The Sea' Opens In Rancho Palos Verdes
Here's how to make a reservation and hit the ice this holiday season.
RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — It's time to lace up your ice skates and make a reservation for "Skating by the Sea" in Rancho Palos Verdes.
The synthetic ice skating rink opens Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rancho Palos Verdes Civic Center at Upper Point Vicente Park with special Christmas tree lighting, crafts, entertainment, food trucks and tons of fun.
"Spectators are welcome, but advanced reservations are strongly recommended for skating," according to the city.

The event is sponsored by Aleshire & Wynder, LLP, Terranea Resort, Trump National Golf Club, Sunbeam Solar Technology, Green Hills Memorial Park, Westcoast Arborist, Katherman Company and Robert A. Vezzuto Consulting.
Drop-in availability is limited, skates are provided. People can also sign up for individual skating lessons. This activity is open to children ages 5 and older.
