South Bay Man Killed While Mountain Biking in Angeles National Forest ID'd as Evan Bruce Sisson

A man who died while mountain biking in the Angeles National Forest above Altadena was identified Monday as a 49-year-old Torrance resident.

Evan Bruce Sisson was the subject of a ground and air search after being reported missing sometime Friday, according to Deputy Ryan Rouzan of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

He was located on the Brown Mountain biking trail on Saturday and pronounced dead at the scene about 10:30 a.m., Rouzan said.

Sisson’ bicycle was found at the bottom of a cliff, and his body was part of the way down.
