Ted Lieu Cruises to Easy Victory in 33rd Congressional District Race
The 33rd district, which covers the coast from Palos Verdes Peninsula to Malibu, including Agoura Hills, is staunchly Democrat.

PALOS VERDES, CA -- Congressional incumbent, Ted Lieu, easily won re-election Tuesday in the 33rd Congressional District against an unknown challenger.
With all precincts report, Lieu won with 66.3 percent of the vote over Republican opponent, Dr. Kenneth Wright. The 33rd district, which covers the coast from Palos Verdes Peninsula to Malibu, including Agoura Hills, is staunchly Democrat.
Lieu handily won the primary election with 69 percent in June. He was first elected to the House in 2014 after first serving as an assemblyman then as a state senator.
