Weird, Windy Weather Hits South Bay
Rain, hail, wind and chilly temperatures come to Southern California.
A cold Pacific storm hit Southern California on Friday, bringing cold temperatures, wind, rain and even hail to the South Bay, according to the National Weather Service.
The showers should end by Friday evening, forecasters predicted. In the morning, residents observed hail in Rolling Hills Estates, Redondo Beach and Manhattan Beach.
A wind advisory remains in effect until 9 p.m. Friday, with forecasters predicting 15- to 25-mph westerly winds with gusts up to 35 mph.

"Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles," according to the NWS. "Use extra caution."
The weather will remain chilly throughout the weekend, with highs in the mid- to high-50s and lows in the mid-40s.
