The 22nd annual Pasadena Chalk Festival began today in Pasadena. The two-day event will bring together more than 600 Southern California artists using 25,000 sticks of pastel chalk to create life-size murals on the city pavement.
Proceeds will benefit the community arts programs of the Light Bringer Project, a Pasadena nonprofit arts organization.
The Pasadena Chalk Festival runs Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Paseo Colorado, 280 E. Colorado Blvd.
