Pasadena Mayor To Hold Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony Friday
Pasadena residents are invited to come out to City Hall Friday evening as Mayor Victor Gordo hosts the annual tree lighting ceremony.

PASADENA, CA — It’s going to start to look a lot like Christmas around Pasadena on Friday night when Mayor Victor Gordo hosts the annual tree lighting celebration at City Hall.
The free celebration is open to residents and visitors alike, according to a city statement. The event will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., with the tree lighting at 6 p.m.
Holiday dancers and singers will help keep guests entertained during the festivities, the city said.

Members of the Pasadena Fire Department will also be at the tree lighting to collect donations for the Spark of Love Toy Drive, and guests with the means are encouraged to donate new and unwrapped toys, sports equipment or gift cards.
City officials are also encouraging attendees to wear a face-covering during the event to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
