PASADENA, CA. - Pasadena was ranked as one of the most charming small city in the U.S., according to writers at RentLingo, a neighborhood and apartment review website.
The reviewers ranked cities with populations between 75,000 and 200,000 and then compared them using the "overall charm" score of each city -- a tabulation combining lifestyle, outdoor amenities, crime, affordability and a tally of locally owned businesses. Rentlingo then compiled the list to the top 20 most charming small towns.
So where does Pasadena place? Tenth on the list. The city was recognized for its abundance of "local cafes and boutiques, its focus on local art in the form of art galleries and theatres."
