Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing Schoolgirl

Police today were seeking the public's help in locating

a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday when she left John Muir High School in Pasadena.

Jennifer Tellez, a Muir High student, left the campus at 1905 Lincoln Ave. around 3 p.m. and has not been heard from since, according to Pasadena police.

Foul play is not suspected, but this is the first time Tellez has failed to come directly home from school, police said.

She has not contacted her family and has no cell phone, according to authorities.
Tellez is Hispanic, 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts was urged to contact Pasadena police at (626) 744-4241.
