1 Arrested In Attempted Stabbing Near Petaluma Homeless Center
The victim positively identified the suspect and the knife, police said.

PETALUMA, CA — A man was arrested near a Petaluma homeless center after an argument led to the attempted stabbing of another man, police said.
Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Hopper Street about 5:20 p.m. Thursday when a community member said a man had produced a knife and attempted to stab him, police said.
Roberto Vasquez, 46, was taken into custody and the knife allegedly used was identified by the victim, police said.
