​5 People, Dog Temporarily Displaced After RV Fire In Petaluma

Fire consumed a fifth-wheel recreational vehicle and threatened a residence, according to the Petaluma Fire Department.

PETALUMA, CA — Fire consumed a fifth-wheel recreational vehicle and threatened a residence, temporarily displacing five people early Saturday, the Petaluma Fire Department said.

The fire was reported about 4:55 a.m. on Wilmington Drive. Firefighters arrived within five minutes and found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames that threatened an adjacent residence, the Fire Department said in a press release.

Five residents and a dog were temporarily displaced but were able to return, firefighters said. There were no reports of injury.
