Caltrans To Repair Storm-Damaged Section Of Highway 37

The work on Highway 37 at Lakeville Highway requires five consecutive nights of closures.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Pavement repair is scheduled for state Highway 37 at Lakeville Highway in Sonoma County, requiring five consecutive overnight closures of the roadway.

Starting Sunday, March 23 and continuing through Thursday, March 27, traffic control will be in place from 9 each night until 5 the following morning, according to Caltrans. A sixth night of work is planned for Tuesday, April 1, during the same hours.

The traffic control will allow construction crews to grind away old, storm-damaged asphalt and replace it with new pavement, a Caltrans spokesperson said. Crews will also restripe lanes and install electronic loop detectors that send information to traffic signals.
