Caltrans Reschedules Hwy 37, Lakeville Hwy Lane Closures

A delay in the arrival of construction materials caused the change in schedule.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Nighttime closures will occur one week later than initially stated for pavement repair on state Highway 37 at Lakeville Highway in Sonoma County, Caltrans said.

The work was supposed to start March 2 but is now planned for Sunday, March 9, through Thursday, March 13, and again on Monday, March 17. Lane closures and traffic control are nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

During nightly lane closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., construction crews will grind away old, storm-damaged asphalt and replace it with new pavement. Crews will also restripe lanes and install electronic loop detectors that send information to traffic signals.
