Can Penngrove handle 111 new housing units?

A front page article in Sunday's Press Democrat (Small Town, Big Changes", Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025 ) hit the nail on the head.

Two developers are in the County process for 99 condos near Penngrove Hatchery (& Twin Oaks) and 12 at Penngrove Station near the park. Can Penngrove handle increased traffic and the additional load on the antiquated Penngrove Sanitation Zone?

Three citizen community groups are poised to fight the developments: Penngrove Social Firemen, Penngrove Downtown Merchants Association, and Penngrove Cares.
