Car Tampering Suspect Arrested At Gunpoint In Petaluma
Tyler Coon, 24, of Rohnert Park, was arrested for allegedly tampering with a car.

PETALUMA, CA -- A suspect accused of trying to steal a car in Petaluma was captured by gunpoint Saturday night. Police responded to an incident around 11 p.m. Saturday on the 100 block of Western Avenue and after a victim said they saw Tyler Coon, 24, of Rohnert Park, tampering with a car, the Petaluma Police Department said.
Officers checked the area and located Coon, who matched the description of the suspect, and detained him at gunpoint. The victim positively identified the suspect.
Coon was placed under arrest for tampering with a vehicle and transported to Sonoma County Jail.
