Community Survey Launched By Healthy Petaluma

Women and girls 13 and older from Petaluma, Penngrove and Cotati are invited to participate and help steer a $10 million investment.

PETALUMA, CA—Healthy Petaluma District and Foundation announced the launch Thursday of a community health survey aimed at understanding and addressing the health needs of women and girls in southern Sonoma County.

The organization invites women and girls 13 and older from Petaluma, Penngrove and Cotati to participate in this important initiative.

“We negotiated and secured $10 million from Providence following the closure of Petaluma Valley Hospital’s Family Birthing Center, and we are committed to investing these funds in programs and services that benefit the health of women and girls,” said Ramona Faith, CEO of Healthy Petaluma. "In addition to consulting with our community partners and healthcare providers, we want to hear directly from our community. This survey will provide valuable insights to ensure that our investment aligns with the actual needs of those we serve."
