Driver Sought In Hit-And-Run In Petaluma
Officers found the car a few blocks away from where the driver hit a retaining wall.

PETALUMA, CA — The Petaluma Police Department is seeking information on a hit-and-run crash last week.
Around 1 p.m. Thursday, March 16, police received a report that a car hit the retaining wall of a home in the 1500 block of Colwood Drive. Officers responded and found damage to the front yard of a residence.
Witnesses told police the driver went eastbound on Colwood Drive after colliding with the retaining wall.

Video from the area confirmed the car was a dark-colored Chevrolet Camaro, Petaluma police said.
A trail of fluid from the car led officers southbound on Crinella Drive and they found the car parked and unoccupied on Parent Way. Damage to the car was consistent with the collision, and parts missing from the car were found at the residence, police said.
