Two Pups Lost On Christmas Day, One Found

North Bay Animal Services is searching for the owners of two missing dogs. "Rosie" is on her way home.

PETALUMA, CA — North Bay Animal Services urgently asks the public for help finding the owners of two dogs found during the holidays.

The first dog was found running in a Petaluma roadway on Christmas Day.

The dog was found near Ely Boulevard South and East Washington. He was wearing a blue collar but had no tags or a microchip.

A second pup was found on the 4900 block of Petaluma Blvd. North, in Petaluma.

He was found wearing a Star Wars collar, but did not have tags or a microchip.

Anyone with information should call (707) 762-6227 and reference case number A60015386.

However, Rosie, was found, animal services said Saturday. She was scheduled to be returned to her family after a check-up, according to a social media post with a message thanking all the people helping search for her — "Our animal community rocks!"
