Current steps to blur data on Google Maps:
Step 1: Go to: https://maps.google.com/
Step 2: Put your home address in the search bar to see if your home has been indexed by Street View

Step 3: An image of your house will pop up if it has been indexed. Click on the image of your house to expand the view.
Step 4: In the bottom right corner of the expanded view of the picture in very small print, there will be an option "Report a Problem". Click the link.

Step 5: They will ask you "Why are you reporting this image".
Step 6: You can request to blur a face, the home (this is permanent), a car, a license plate or a different object. Pick which one you want to blur.
Step 7: Enter your email address for confirmation & do a captcha verification to confirm you aren't a bot.
Step 8: Click submit once you are satisfied with everything.
That's it....Then check back in a couple of days to make sure what you requested has been up-dated. I hope this helps!
