Night Work Scheduled At Petaluma North SMART Station
Construction lights will be used during overnight work planned for later this week, SMART said in an update.

PETALUMA, CA — With construction underway on the Petaluma North SMART Station at Corona Road and North McDowell Boulevard, nearby community members can expect some construction-related dust and noise, the Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit said Friday in an update.
SMART contractors Stacy and Witbeck Inc. and Ghilotti Bros are working on the project in a joint venture and have started excavating for the train station platform.
Work hours are generally 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some overnight work expected. Residents can expect beeping sounds from vehicles backing up, as well as construction lights at night.

During night work Friday and Saturday night, Feb. 2-3, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., directional lights will be used to focus on construction activities, SMART said in the update.
The timing of construction activities is weather-dependent, so dates may change, SMART said.

For safety reasons, residents are asked to stay clear of all construction equipment and activities.
