The OG Kenilworth Junior High School: Petaluma Photos Of The Day

Got a photo of Petaluma you'd like to share? Here's what to do.

PETALUMA, CA — Patch reader Bill Piatt sent in these photos he captured May 6, 2006, before the OG (original) Kenilworth Junior High School was torn down.

The image shows a painting hung over the entrance to the cafeteria building on the campus built in 1958 and attended by generations of Petalumans and even some famous people including actress Winona Ryder and author Bill Pronzini.

"Wish I would have had the presence of mind to jump up there and take it down at the time, Enjoy," Bill wrote in an email to Patch.
