Petaluma Drivers Urged To Avoid Stretch Of Highway Amid Big Rig Crash

PETALUMA, CA — Police were asking motorists to avoid Old Redwood Highway at Highway 101 in Petaluma while they responded to an overturned semi truck.

Authorities reduced traffic flow to one westbound lane while the northbound Highway 101 onramp was closed due to the collision, the Petaluma Police Department reported.

Police expect traffic on Westbound Old Redwood Highway to be impacted throughout the morning. Drivers were urged to use caution and drive slowly through the open areas.
