Recognize Her? Woman Swipes $820 Neon Sign, Police Say

Police have not been able to identify her, but hope someone in the public can help them out.

PETALUMA, CA — The Petaluma Police Department is hoping the public can help track down a woman accused of stealing a neon sign valued at $840 from a local business.

According to police, the theft took place Jan. 24 at a business in the Theater District in downtown Petaluma.

The woman walked up to the sign, which has the words "Love All Ways," and used various tools to remove it from the business, police said.

"Investigative efforts in identifying the individual have been unsuccessful," police said Wednesday. "The Petaluma Police Department is asking any witnesses or anyone who may have information regarding this case to contact Officer Ross at Jross@cityofpetaluma.org or call our non-emergency phone at 707-778-4372."
